So far...
Since March and thanks to the generous help from hundreds of our supporters, we were able to distribute food & hygiene supplies to our over 900 sponsored students....four times! Our local Ugandan staff and LCU leaders worked diligently and handed out a month's worth of food supplies to each student both in April, May and September. Unfortunately, Uganda still remains under lock-down. Though some restrictions have been lifted, daily life is still greatly impacted which impacts many family's being able to provide necessities for their families. |
Coronavirus impact in UgandaUnfortunately, Coronavirus has entered Uganda. Although the number is currently very small, we pray that the government and people take the proper steps to contain the spread and prevent unprecedented harm to the vulnerable people in Uganda.
