“It’s a good feeling to know that these children, who have all suffered such a traumatic loss, are able to have a safe place where they can share their grief with other children who know exactly how they feel. Under the guidance of grief counselors and facilitators, they can have their fears addressed without having to feel shame or concern of hurting a parent who is hurting (as well) in their own adult way. I feel we are filling a gap in their early lives to be able to move forward in a healthy manner. It’s so rewarding!"
